What "per user" means.

You pay for each person on your team who has a company account, usually anyone with a Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace login. That price covers their protection across the devices and accounts they use for work, plus 24/7/365 monitoring and response by our SOC team.

Per-user pricing is the simplest model for small and mid-sized businesses. Per-device pricing penalizes teams where each person uses a laptop, a phone and a tablet, and tiered bundles often hide the tools you need in a higher tier. You add or remove users as your headcount changes.

10 users$1,000$1,300
25 users$2,500$3,250
50 users$5,000$6,500

Choosing between the two.

Choose Security if you need 24/7/365 detection and response, email protection, cleaner sign-in security, trained staff and a vCISO to guide you, and your IT provider already patches and scans your systems.

Choose SecurityPlus if you answer to a regulation that requires regular vulnerability scanning, such as the FTC Safeguards Rule or CMMC, if remote staff still connect over a VPN, or if you want us to own the full zero trust rollout including network access.

Not sure? The free cybersecurity risk assessment ends with a plan recommendation based on what we find.

Penetration testing is quoted per engagement, whether or not you are on a plan. Email security, incident response and vCISO guidance are already included in both plans.

Questions to ask any MSSP.

  1. Are analysts watching my alerts 24/7, or only during business hours?
  2. Can you take action, such as isolating a device or disabling an account, or do you only send me an alert?
  3. Is a SIEM included in the price?
  4. What is the price per user, and what is not included?
  5. Is there a long-term contract or a minimum number of users?
  6. Will you work alongside my current IT provider?

Managed security pricing FAQ

Our plans cost $100 per user per month for Security and $130 per user per month for SecurityPlus. A 20-person business on the Security plan pays $2,000 a month for SIEM, EDR, 24/7/365 managed detection and response, email security, security awareness training, zero trust architecture, incident response and vCISO guidance.
For most small and mid-sized businesses, yes. IBM's 2025 Cost of a Data Breach Report put the average US breach at $10.22 million, and Verizon's 2025 DBIR reported a median ransom payment of $115,000. For a typical small business, a year of managed security costs far less than a single median ransom payment, and far less than staffing 24/7 monitoring in-house.
Very. Attackers often strike at night, on weekends and over holidays because they know nobody is watching. Without 24/7 monitoring, an alert that fires at 11 p.m. on a Friday may not be seen until Monday, which is plenty of time to encrypt a network. Both of our plans include managed detection and response from our SOC, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Both include SIEM, EDR, 24/7/365 managed detection and response, email security, security awareness training, zero trust architecture, incident response and vCISO guidance. SecurityPlus adds vulnerability management, meaning ongoing scanning with prioritized fixes, and the full zero trust package, including zero trust network access and ongoing zero trust network management.
No. Both plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract and no minimum number of users. You pay for the people you protect, and you can add or remove users as your team changes.
Generally, a user is a person on your team who has a company account, such as an employee with a Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace login. We confirm your user count with you during the free assessment.
